ALLOTMENT COMPETITION WINNERS 2008

WPC and the Allotment Management Committee decided at short notice to hold a best kept allotment competition for this year. An independant adjudicator Mr Peter Shepherd was appointed to assess each full and half plot looking for general tideness, variety of produce and quality of produce.

Although there was very strong competition though out site the eventual winners were ; Full size plot winner Carol Redden, Plot 48 Half size plot winner Trevor Skelton PLot 43b.

Congratulations go to the happy winners and also a big thank you to Peter Shepherd not only for adjudicating but for his generous donation of a prize as well.

Hopefully the competition is something that can be carried forward into future years and the WPC and Allotment Mangaement will be looking at this over the coming months and tenants will be notified of the outcome in due course.
