We are delighted to announce that this year's allotment competition winners are Bryan Milner (full plot) and Trevor Skelton (half plot). This is the second year that Trevor has won and we are all looking forward to the 2010 competition to see if he can do it again.
Many thanks to Brian Tidd for volunteering to judge the competition |

The Boulders Are Going !!!After much discussion and based on the outcome of the village survey the boulder on The Green will be replaced with square hardwood posts to match the existing ones.An application has been submitted and approved to have entire cost of this work carried out under the "Small Environments Improvement Budget" (SEIB) from Stockton Borough Council (SBC) enabling Wolviston Parish Council to use our money on other projects within the village. The three tenders for the work came from.. - Wolviston Garden Services
- M Shepherd Agricultural Services
- Direct Services (Stockton Borough Council)
The work has been awarded to Wolviston Garden Services and will go ahead once the ground has dried out and is more suitable to set the new posts in place.Wolviston Parish Council is intending to offer to all residents the opportunity to remove a boulder or boulders, at their own cost and risk, for their own use. Further information of when this offer will be available will be posted on the web site as soon as the start date has been agreed. Please remember this offer will be made official once the date has been set for the posts to be installed. Many Thanks, Wolviston Parish Council |
